Amp’d Up Electrical is a proud supporter of the American Diabetes Association and 5th year participant in the Northeast Classic Tour de Cure. As a participant in a Cycle NorthEast Tour, Amp’d Up has be on the road helping to find a cure for diabetes and the complications of this chronic disease. Proceeds from all ADA tours benefit the research and education programs of the American Diabetes Association and the 20 million Americans affected by diabetes. This years ride raised over $200,000 with the help of 120 riders. Thank you for your support. I will be riding again next year so I ask you to please donate to a worthy cause in fight against diabetes. This event is non-profit and almost every dollar donated goes directly to research. Unlike many other charity rides, this is a no frills ride and money is not wasted on unnecessary and high priced energy bars and sports drinks. This is a 7 day event that covers 550 miles of New England and accommodations for riders are primarily donated by college campuses over the summer when students are on their vacations. Please take a moment and even view the Tour de Cure web site for further information and consider making a donation. Wether it Be $5, $25, $100 or more, any donation is going to a life threatening disease research program.. If you do want to make a donation and do not feel comfortable online, I may accept a check to the American Diabetes Association that will be counted toward my share of donations needed toward this event.
